hopeful for Efforts that will bear much FRUITS.
FROM THE CHAIRMAN
The past two years have been challenging for many of us. As we welcome the post-pandemic world and reconnection with family and friends, fresh worries like increased living expenses and new COVID-19 strains are causing continual disruptions to our lives.
We are thankful that physical tuition classes and music enrichment classes resumed beginning of this year and continued till end of the year without any more disruption. Parents and students were glad to be able to come back to classes in the centre.
With the support of our volunteers and parents, we managed to start our inaugural Chinese tuition classes for Primary 4, 5 and 6 last year. It was warmly welcomed by parents and students. We hope to start more such classes in the coming year if there is a demand for them.
In 2023, we hope to step up our work in positioning PCC as a youth-centric centre offering programmes to reach out to youths in the neighbourhood and from Grace Orchard School. We will be doing this in partnership with Youth Guidance and Outreach Services and Presbyterian Community Services. Youths in the vicinity can look forward to dropping in to the centre after school to do their homework or schoolwork discussion with their friends in a safe and conducive environment. We will also start recruiting volunteers who can be mentors to these youths. We are excited about this new work and look forward to making a positive impact on the youths that come to our centre.
Finally, Providence Care Ltd would like to express our sincere appreciation to all our supporting organizations and individuals for their invaluable help and contributions towards the work of Providence Care Ltd and her partnership project Providence Care Centre.
Your continued support in journeying with us will be very much appreciated!
